Mandate is to arrange and describe the official records of the Provincial Synod of B.C. and Yukon and such other material deemed of historical value. Holdings include records of the Provincial Synod, including records of Metropolitans and various Boards and Committees, as well as records and other material of individuals and significant related organizations such as the Columbia Coast Mission, Anglican Theological College of British Columbia, and the British Columbia and Yukon Church Aid Society (BCYCAS). In addition to textual records and documents the holdings include photographs, slides, architectural records, maps and sound recordings. The Archives also has Synod Journals and periodicals issued by the Dioceses and missionary society and a small collection of books, periodicals and research papers, including the collection of the BCYCAS library pertaining to the history of the Anglican Church in B.C. and Yukon and B.C. history in general.
