| history | The Alberni District Historical Society was established in 1965 and operates its Archives at the Alberni Valley Museum in Port Alberni. The Archives collects, preserves and makes accessible archival records and historical reference material (including newspapers) relating to communities in the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District, including Port Alberni, Beaver Creek, Cherry Creek, Sproat Lake, Bamfield, Tofino, and Ucluelet. | ||
