Biographical history
Albert Henry Wheeler was born in 1886 in Stratford, England. He arrived in BC in 1910. On the 1911 census his occupation is listed as fireman. He served overseas during the First World War and achieved the rank of captain with the 7th Battalion. He died in 1970.
Custodial history
Donated by Dorothy Tickell in 1978.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of records pertaining Albert Wheeler's World War One military service. There is also photo album containing photos of the 104th Regiment. There are photos from training, in Victoria, boarding trains, on ship, in England, and finally in Europe.
