        History

        Terry Brennan was born in England and grew up in Ireland, England, and Canada. A long-time resident of Delta, he was a member of the Delta Police Department from 1952 to 1980. Mr. Brennan was a member of many community organizations, including the Kinsmen; as a Kinsmen, he was instrumental in the construction of the Ladner Pioneer Library. During the development of the library, he worked with Leon Ladner, who passed on to Mr. Brennan records pertaining to the Ladners. Mr. Brennan also has a keen interest in history and the pioneers, and has accumulated relevant material. He continues to live in Ladner, and remains active in preserving the pioneer heritage of the area.
