        History

        The first Anglican services were held in Creston in 1899 and a church was completed in 1911. The parish, formed by 1909, has been responsible for ministry in several smaller surrounding communities. Currently the parish includes All Saints', Lister and St. Patrick's, Wynndel which were opened during the 1930's; St. Anselm's, Boswell, added to the parish in the 1940's from the parish of Kokanee; and Crawford Bay, Gray Creek and Riondel, which were transferred to Creston from Kokanee in 1965.
