Records management and collecting policies
The City of Coquitlam, through its Records Management Program administered by the Office of the City Clerk, preserves and makes accessible the records of enduring value of the City of Coquitlam and its predecessor corporate entities. Archival holdings include Council and committee minutes, bylaws, assessment rolls, and other records documenting the administrative and operational functions of the municipality since its incorporation in 1891. The Archives also acquires, preserves, and makes accessible the records of businesses, organizations, and private individuals that are of significance to the municipality and deemed worthy of long-term preservation.
