    Biographical history

    Captain Edward Peter De Cunha served in the Merchant Marine with foreign-going ships out of Montreal and the United Kingdom. Towards the end of his career, De Cunha worked for B.C. Ferries in the Gulf of Georgia.

    Scope and content

    The fonds consists of certificates, operator's licences, cards of merchant navy defence courses taken, letters of reference and general correspondence relating to shipping. Two folders include maps of Thames River and Rotterdam Harbour with Port Authority notes. Fonds includes de Cunha's file relating to meteorology, printed material and photographs of Cunha's personal life and marine career.
