The Enderby Agricultural and Horticultural Society was originally established as the Enderby Amateur Horticultural Society and was active in Enderby from 1911 to 1917. It held meetings with speakers and hosted annual horticultural shows. It sponsored competitions: children's garden plots, window displays, and flower gardens, with the purpose of making Enderby a "garden city."
