    Biographical history

    Dr. Frederick Inglis, a graduate of the University of Manitoba, came to the Gibsons area in 1913 and provided medical care for the Gibsons and Sechelt districts from 1913 to 1945. He was also Medical Officer for the Sechelt Indian Residential School. In 1945, his son Dr. Alan Inglis assisted with his father's practice. Another son, Dr. Hugh Inglis, also practice medicine at Gibsons.

    The fonds consists of legal records (including property records, land sale agreements, probate documents, real estate records, and will) of Frederick Inglis. Fonds also includes genealogical research material relating to the Inglis family and Inglis family photographs.
