        Dora Elizabeth Homan was born in Illinois and travelled with Grace Stanton to Quesnel in 1910. Homan and Stanton operated the Occidental Hotel from 1910 to 1916, and later operated the boarding house known as Stan-Hom Lodge and the British American Hotel. Homan lived in Quesnel until her death.
