    Biographical history

    The Honeymoon Bay Employees' Association represented employees of Western Forest Industries at Honeymoon Bay, BC. Unsure as to start up date. The goals of the association were to foster social and athletic interests among employees, looking after their members, charity donations and scholarships. They were responsible for the allocation, administration and maintenance of the Honeymoon Bay Community Hall. Western Forest Industries closed in 1981. Unsure when the Association ceased. Originally known as Honeymoon Bay Employees Social and Athletic Association.

    John Padjen, who held several offices, donated all the material in 1983, except for the Wesforays documents, which were donated by Western Forest Industries in 1985.

    The fonds consists of documents relating to the business and organization of the Association. The fonds consists of 9 series containing minutes; financial records; correspondence; appeals; constitution & by-laws; Meade Creek Benefit Association; Gordon River Benefit/Donation Fund and Wesforays.
