Collection consists of photographs. Subjects of images include meetings of Diocesan and General Synod; consecration of bishops; various clergy and other individuals; parish events and activities; Church Army; Sunday School van; church camps and camping; early scenes of the building of Prince Rupert including street and harbour scenes, construction of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railroad; steamers, fishing boats and mission ships; totem poles; native people and villages; settlers; scenes from various places across the Diocese; exteriors and interiors of church buildings in the Diocese as well as in Alaska and Yukon; the Alaska Highway. Photographic holdings have been described at this point as a collection even though provenance of some items are identifiable. A sizeable part of early photographs (1908-1910) are from Rev. Edward Penard Laycock while he was a priest in the Diocese, particularly early scenes of Prince Rupert and at Lakalzap (Greenville) and Atlin where he served. Other photographs have as their source Bishops Rix, Gibson, Watts and Hambidge, the Caledonia Times, the "Northern Cross" mission ship, and the Synod Office.
