The fonds consists of administrative and financial records of the Nanooa Historical and Museum Society, including correspondence, membership records, minutes, financial statements, annual reports and receipts, along with research and reference material collected by the Society. Fonds includes the Society's photograph collection, many of the photographs are copy photoprints of vintage photographs collected by George Butler, the first president of the Society; and the Society's map and oral history collections.

Fonds consists of the following record series: Comox-Nanaimo Presbytery and Executive meeting minutes (official minutes, 1959-1991 and 1994-1996; 1998-2014); Correspondence of the Presbytery Secretary (1965-1994); Pastoral Relations files of the Presbytery Secretary (1967-1976); and Subject files of the Presbytery Secretary.
