The collection consists of a framed facsimile (or possible forgery) of The Absent-Minded Beggar, an 1899 poem by Rudyard Kipling. The poem was set to music by Sir Arthur Sullivan as part of an appeal to raise money for the Boer War.

Also included are photocopies of 4 Leacock letters to his family in England, a photocopy of an article about "Stephen Leacock's Remarkable Uncle" from the Beaver, Dec 1986, and a photocopy from a Parks brochure for Saskatchewan.
