Casey Wells fonds

The fonds consists of Wells' subject files on local history and native Indian cultures, records relating to his "Anthology of Valley History", personal financial, household and legal records, and miscellaneous writings, notes, and drafts. Fonds includes family correspondence and household records of the Wells family, personal records of Nils Nilsson (1890s), records of the Chilliwack Valley Historical Society, records of Gertrude Wells (1882-1897), records of Oliver Wells pertaining to Edenbank Farm and to studies of the Squamish and Nooksack Indians, and business records of the Wells Family Society, CHWK Radio, and Edenbank Farm. Fonds includes photographs of the Wells family, CHWX Radio, the Hodge family, the Spencer family, and the Kipp family. The fonds also contains aerial photographs of Chilliwack and photographs of persons and events in the Chilliwack area and Upper Fraser Valley.

The fonds consists of photographs of the Spencer family, the Clay children, and Evelyn Jones' school or college classmates in Hamilton, Ontario, along with images of individuals and groups that are not identified. Various Victoria area views include images of the visit of the Duke and Duchess of York in 1901, a floating Japanese teahouse at the Gorge Park and the Exhibition Hall at Willows. There are several images of Orchard House, the Jones family residence, and other Victoria homes.
