Tibbles-Lavington Fonds

Fonds consists of the personal records of Margaret and Harold “Dude” Lavington and their daughter Jean Tibbles (née Lavington), including records passed to them by other members of the Lavington family. It also includes records they retained from administrative involvement with local and regional organisations, as well as magazines and newspaper clippings.

Fonds consists of records created or received by Maureen Trotter through her work for the Quesnel Women’s Resource Centre, the Amata Transition House Society, the National Action Committee for the Status of Women, and other local advocacy campaigns and community projects. Records include organizational correspondence, lobbying correspondence, meeting minutes, financial statements, operational notes and manuals, internal policies, photocopied journal articles, literature reviews, research notes, grant proposals, government reports, strategic plans, campaign brochures, talking notes, petitions, newsletters, programming schedules, and contact information lists. Interspersed within the records are copies of newspaper and magazine articles documenting each of these organization's achievements.

The Riverview Hospital Historical Society collection consists of the records collected and maintained by the Riverview Hospital Historical Society (RHHS). Through their museum and library, the RHHS acquired and stewarded records documenting the history of Riverview Hospital, the British Columbia School of Psychiatric Nursing, and the history of psychiatric care in British Columbia.

The collection consists of a range of documentary forms, including: reports, theses, newspaper clippings, newsletters, publications, correspondence, manuals, plans and drawings, directories, inventories, procedures, programmes, annuals, invitations, motion pictures, personal narratives, staff lists, minutes, study notes, scrapbooks, ephemera, and photographs depicting aspects of social and administrative life at the hospital and school.

The collection is arranged into ten series that reflect original collections maintained by the RHHS, and are organized by media type or content. See the Arrangement note below for more information.

Don Cunnings fonds

The fonds consists of records created and accumulated by Don Cunnings, documenting his involvement in sport and recreation in Coquitlam. The archivist arranged the fonds into two series. One series documents the activities of Cunnings during his tenure at the District of Coquitlam Parks and Recreation Department. The second series consists of personal and professional records accumulated by Cunnings, documenting his various professional positions for reference and posterity.

The records include photographs, newspaper clippings, newsletters, correspondence, recorded documentaries, two scrapbooks, and assorted textual records and ephemera.

This fonds consists of 3 sections: 1) Photocopy of Comox Logging & Railway Company Employee’s Registration Cards for Donald McIver and his brother, Robert Alan McIver, 1951. 2) Camp 3 Mutual Benefit Association Revised Constitution and By-Laws, October 1957. This booklet is contained in a Comox Logging & Railway Company envelope with monthly dues paid noted on the back. 3) Letter from Mrs. D. McIver to Eddy Erickson dated July 18, 1961 re: dues payment discrepancy. Also receipts for dues payments from March 21, 1961 to October 30, 1964 stored in envelope with letter.
