Sous-fonds consists of correspondence, reports, personal documents, memorabilia, clippings, cartographic records, photographs. Includes administrative correspondence with Canon Jocelyn Perkins, General Secretary of the British Columbia and Yukon Church Aid Society (B.C.Y.C.A.S.); with Edward P. Laycock, Cariboo Diocesan Committee of the B.C.Y.C.A.S.; with Diocese while on active duty as Chaplain in the Armed Forces; with General Synod officials; with Society for the Propagation of the Gospel. Early records include maps of England, Wales, Belgium and France relating to period of military service during First World War. Also includes correspondence (1973) of daughter, Jeanne Carden Wells, regarding father's biography.

Part of Synod of the Diocese of New Westminster fonds

Series consists of property records, legal records, financial records, correspondence relating to property sales and mortgages, deeds of land. Includes a printed copy of the "Act to constitute the Bishops of British Columbia, Caledonia and New Westminster Corporations sole", as well as a printed copy of the New Westminster municipality by-law 1248, that enabled Bishop Adam U. de Pencier to acquire land for the purpose of a cemetery (1930). The agreement is known as "The Church of England Cemetery by-law 1930". Other legal records include mortgage payment agreements between Synod and Eldentrand Stroining (1980), Svend Aage Bach and Marie Immacolata (1981), and Mary Ann Dickhoff (1984). Includes also copies of mortgage agreements between the Diocese of New Westminster and the Society for the Property of Gospel (1913, 1915, 1923, 1924). Includes a list of parishes incorporations (1896 - 1931), bylaws relating to parishes' incorporations, a handwritten copy of the incorporation act of St. Thomas Chilliwack parish (1896). Series consists also of records relating to the following funds and trusts: E. Disney Farmer Memorial fund, J.C. Wetherell Estate trust, Rev. H. Bell-Irving Memorial fund, Bishops Endowment fund.

Sous-fonds consists of financial records relating to Synod funds such as: declaration of trust and transfer of funds as to Bishop's Endowment Fund (1910); Christ Church Surrey Centre Fund for Up keeping of Church and Burial grounds (1926); Bishop Gower' Discretionary Fund (1958); financial statements, agreements, and correspondence relating to church properties or related to various organizations (Girls Friendly Society correspondence and fund, 1932-1950; B.C. Charities, 1958-1964, and South Burnaby Men's Club Fund, 1961); financial statements relating to the production, subscriptions, and deanery contributions to the Diocesan newspapers "Anglican News" (1960-1965, 1968); report and recommendations on the accounting system of the Synod concerning four separate accounts: General Diocesan Fund, Property Fund, Endowment Fund, and Trust Fund (1967); legal records; sundry documents, such as: the act of incorporation of The Society for the Propagation of the Gospel (S.P.G.), 1915. Includes also a list of properties of the Diocese of New Westminster in 1930; a list of Kootney Diocese properties still vested in the Synod of New Westminster (1930).
