The fonds consists of Wah's correspondence, manuscripts, and typescripts, drafts of works by other authors, workshop and conference materials, notebooks, and diaries. Correspondents include George Bowering, Robert Creeley, Lionel Kearns, Ron Loewinsohn, Charles Olson, Michael Ondaatje, Raymond Souster, Warren Tallman, Audrey Thomas, and Phyllis Webb. Included in drafts of other works of other authors sent to Wah for editing or opinion include those of bp Nichol and Michael Ondaatje.

The collection consists of letters written by Charles Olson to five men who edited and published his works: Robin Blaser, Andrew Crozier, Barry Hall, LeRoi Jones, and Ed Sanders. Some of the letters were accompanied by manuscripts produce by Olson during the period 1965 to 1969. Collection includes a group of student assignments (mostly poetry) collected by Olson when he was in residence at University of British Columbia in 1963.
