Series consists of reports submitted to the shareholders at the annual meeting of the British Columbia Packers Association. Included in the annual report is the Directors' Report, the General Manager's Report, and the Auditor's Report. The Director's Report presents the balance sheet for the previous year. The General Manager's Report describes the operations and results of the business of the Association including canneries in operation, market conditions, improvements to plants, condition of its fleet of steamers, comments on fishing strategies and enhancements, and a financial summary.
Brunswick Cannery (Canoe Pass, B.C.)Series consists of invoices, receipts, lists of outstanding accounts, ledgers, bank statements, and daily pack reports, largely resulting form the operation of Brunswick Cannery, 1898-1930, as well as the Anglo American Cannery, 1986 to 1902. Invoices include billings from suppliers in Vancouver and New Westminster as well as local suppliers of groceries, lumber, hardware, etc. in Port Guichon and Ladner, and from local individuals. The invoices show changes in canning techniques, for example, invoices from the American Can Company for new types of can. Brunswick Cannery also received memorandums of debits and credits assigned to the cannery for supplies received from and traded to sister canneries and the head office of B.C. Packers. The ledgers are in the form of Net Books and contain information pertaining to fishermen and cannery workers who have accounts with the cannery for boats, equipment, food and supplies.
Series includes receipts for moneys paid by the British Columbia Packers Association to persons to fish, wages, and work done, and to persons and companies for goods and services supplied to Brunswick Cannery. Hand written entries give names of those receiving money, the amount, and the type of work done, and therefore supply personnel information. Other incomplete sets of records include lists of debts owed to the Association by its employees, bank statements, and daily reports of pack.
Brunswick Cannery (Canoe Pass, B.C.)Series consists of records generated by cannery workers and fishermen at Brunswick Cannery in the course of purchasing supplies at the cannery store and delivering their fish catch to the cannery. Individual workers kept running accounts at the cannery store for the purchase of food, clothing, hardware, and other sundries, recording the purchases in small notebooks (account books). The series contains records such as: counter check books used as receipts for fish brought to Brunswick Cannery and fish tally receipts. The records include bound form books (Lovell's Counter Check Books) and loose pages from some that record such information as type and number of fish received, the fishermen's name or initials, the number of the boat, and the amount paid for the fish.

Delta Heritage SocietySeries consists of manuscripts written by several different authors who sent the material to Mr. Dunning for editing and printing, or articles written by Edgar Dunning himself. The manuscripts are histories and memoirs about people, organizations, and events in Ladner and Delta. Authors, other than Mr. Dunning, include W.A. Graham, Gordon Taylor, Leon Ladner, Bruce Ramsey, E.W. Hutcherson, L.M. Hutcherson, Elsa Grunlund Johnson, Mabel McPhail, and Ethel Muriel (Peggy) Holmes. The series also includes manuscripts created by Edgar Dunning for his CBC Radio show entitled Neighbourly News.
Series consists of records of societies which Mr. Dunning received as a member of the executive. Records include correspondence, minutes, agendas, legal documents, and copies of constitutions for the Delta Historical and Museum Society, Delta Board of Trade, May Day Society, the Delta Heritage Advisory Commission, the Delta History Book Project Commission and Delta Civic Association. The series also includes a history of the Delta Board of Trade written by Mr. Dunning.
Series consists of correspondence, notes, and other material about miscellaneous aspects of the history of Lander and pioneer families of Delta, Paterson Park and the Deas Island Tunnel, among other subjects. Much of this information is written by other people and sent to Edgar Dunning. The series also contains lists of contacts for pursing historical information about businesses and clubs in Delta. Much of the material included in this series relates to Edgar Dunning's research for his newspaper articles. The headings that he had given to his file folders reflect themes or subject matter in many of his newspaper columns.
Series consists of original and copy prints, negatives, contact prints, and slides of images largely of Delta people, places and events. The largest accession (1979-026) consists of prints used in Edgar Dunning's The Optimist newspaper business. Many of these prints have been annotated with cropping and other marks. The majority of images have been taken by Edgar Dunning; other images were given to him because of his interest in preserving Delta's history.
Series consists of documents, drawings and photographs collected or created by E.W. Taylor in the course of his research on the history of R.C.A.F. Station Boundary Bay and the structure of the William H. Ladner house. Mr. Taylor relied on primary documents for his historical essay on the development, use and events at Boundary Bay Airport during World War II. Mr. Taylor, with help from Slim Cameron, made meticulous measurements and detailed drawings of the William Ladner house, recently damaged by fire and soon to be demolished. Ernie Taylor used this information to create architectural drawings of the house including floor plans, details and side elevations.

Major contents include collection of rent, rent dispute settlement, extension of lease, sale of land and property maintenance.
