The fonds consists of records made or received by the TeleLearning Network's management office in the course of administering the Network's affairs.

Activities documented include Annual General Meetings and meetings of the Board of Directors and TeleLearning committees, Network financial administration and budgeting, communications, media relations and web presence, the holding of annual TeleLearning Conferences, NCE reporting, management of research projects, and promotion of TeleLearning spin-off companies.

Record media include paper, electronic (spreadsheets, word-processing documents, graphics formats, and html files), optical disks, audio tapes, photographs, graphics and artifacts.

The title of the fonds takes its name from its contents. The fonds is divided into two series and contains notebooks related to the writings of Gordon Priestman and studies related to the community’s development.

The fonds comprises records created by Duke from approximately 1946 to 2006. They are related to all aspects of Duke’s life and career. The fonds consists of records created and accumulated by Delgado since 1964. The fonds contains correspondence, personal records, photographs, slides, negatives, video recordings, audio recordings of interviews with Delgado, and files focusing on: projects (shipwreck and historic sites), expeditions, lectures and education, and writing. The fonds also focuses on Delgado’s work with the National Park Service in the US, his work with the Vancouver Maritime Museum and with the Institute for Nautical Archaeology. Records also focus on Delgado’s work on The Sea Hunters television program.

Fonds consists of records created or received by the Peak Publications Society primarily in the course of publishing The Peak, the student newspaper of Simon Fraser University. Activities and topics documented include the establishment and organization of the Peak Publications Society; developing sources of funding; the production of the newspaper, including the taking of photographs required to illustrate stories published; the hiring and duties of Peak staff members; and other publishing ventures of the Peak Publications Society. Includes a complete run of The Peak newspaper from 1965 and other published material such as the Terminal City Express, The Dic (student course guide), and The Peak Handbook. Also includes certification of incorporation, constitution, agendas, minutes, financial records, correspondence, and other documents, as well as contact sheets, prints, negatives, and microfilm reels.

Fonds consists of records documenting the programs and activities of the Radio Society / CiTR (including DISCORDER), including textual records and sound recordings of a variety of programs, radio plays, campus events, public service announcements, photographs of the radio studio and from different events, and advertisements produced by the Radio Society for broadcast on its station (CYVR/CiTR) or affiliated radio stations. In addition, the fonds includes recordings of interviews conducted on behalf of the Alma Mater society relating to its art collection. Fonds also consists of materials related to the administration of the radio station including information about licensing, executive meetings, policies, job descriptions, and staff training.

Fonds consists of records relating to Jim Taylor’s writing, editing, and broadcasting work, as well as his liaison with colleagues and family members. Fonds comprises the following record series: Correspondence – JAFT to WST (1945-1998); Published articles and resources (1967-2006); Early writings (1959-1980); Personal correspondence (1966-1986); Academic writings (1958-1967); Newsletters (1984-1994); Regular newspaper columns (1996-2018); Manuscripts for monographs (1996-2001); Reference: books written or edited by James Taylor (1981-2010). Documentary forms include correspondence, research notes, interview transcripts, draft and published versions of magazine articles, play scripts, and full manuscripts of books. Also included is a copy of each published book.

The Riverview Hospital Historical Society collection consists of the records collected and maintained by the Riverview Hospital Historical Society (RHHS). Through their museum and library, the RHHS acquired and stewarded records documenting the history of Riverview Hospital, the British Columbia School of Psychiatric Nursing, and the history of psychiatric care in British Columbia.

The collection consists of a range of documentary forms, including: reports, theses, newspaper clippings, newsletters, publications, correspondence, manuals, plans and drawings, directories, inventories, procedures, programmes, annuals, invitations, motion pictures, personal narratives, staff lists, minutes, study notes, scrapbooks, ephemera, and photographs depicting aspects of social and administrative life at the hospital and school.

The collection is arranged into ten series that reflect original collections maintained by the RHHS, and are organized by media type or content. See the Arrangement note below for more information.

Collection is comprised of records accumulated as a result of the participation of the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre in a project entitled Writing Lives: The Holocaust Survivor Memoir Project. Writing Lives was a partnership between Langara College’s English and History departments, the Azrieli Foundation and the VHEC. For the project, students at Langara College worked closely with Vancouver-based Holocaust survivors to produce their written memoirs over the course of two semesters. In the first semester, students learned the history of the Holocaust. In the second semester, students interviewed survivors, transcribed the interviews and together with the survivors, completed written memoirs. In this fonds are the memoirs, administrative files and digital photographs produced during the two-year run of the project. Seven survivors participated in the first year of the project, from 2016–2017; five survivors participated in the second year of the project, from 2017 to 2018.

Collection is divided into three series: Memoirs (2017–2018), Administrative files (2016–2018) and Photographs (2017–2018).

Fonds consists of records generated by staff and volunteers of the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre in the planning and administration of exhibitions, school programs, commemorative events, symposia, communications as well as a resource centre. Fonds consists of textual records, graphic materials, and artefacts relating to Louise Sorensen’s life in the Netherlands, some of which was spent in hiding. Many of the items are wartime records, including photographs and negatives, correspondence, paper currency, drawings, notice of registration, official and forged identity cards, and ration cards. Additionally, the fonds contains copies of Sorensen’s great-uncle’s daughter’s, Ans’, testimonies; several English translations of items provided by Sorensen; and a 1947 second edition of Anne Frank’s Het Achterhuis, or The Diary of a Young Girl, also known as the Diary of Anne Frank. The fonds has been arranged by the archivist into the following six series: Personal records, Family records, Photographs, Correspondence, Currency and Publications and writings.

Collection is comprised of antisemitic publications, flyers and postcards distributed in North America and Europe in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and collected by Kit Krieger.

The fonds consists of a collection of reference files created by Columbian staff members over a number of years. The files were accessed by staff members to provide information about a given person or subject. The content of these files is predominately black and white photographic prints and associated newspaper clippings. There are also other types of documents in the files such as pamphlets, circulars, assignment sheets, and memos. The fonds contains five series: People Files, Subject Files, and Sports Files, Sports Mug Shots, and New Westminster Today Photos. These records are sorted alphabetically except for the New Westminster Today photos which are filed chronologically.

The fonds consists of 6 series: correspondence, 1961-1987, primarily Earle Birney; literary manuscripts, ca. 1954-1957, including fiction and plays; research, ca. 1962-1987; printed materials, ca. 1954-1988, primarily journal offprints and copies; indices, ca. 1962-1987. The indices consist of research card groups including: animals; slang dictionaries; women in medieval medicine; medieval medical books; symbolism; The Canterbury Tales, and miscellaneous subjects.

The fonds consists of Schroeder's literary manuscripts, radio plays, filmscripts, manuscripts by others, personal correspondence, financial records, and printed material which chronicle his development and contributions as a writer, journalist, broadcaster, editor, translator, and literary/cultural activist. Included among the subjects documented in the papers are: Schroeder's published and unpublished fiction and nonfiction works, including short prose, novellas, poems, translations, a prison memoir, literary columns, and feature articles; production of documentaries for the CBC radio show "Ideas"; publication of the literary magazine of translation "Contemporary Literature in Translation"; the author's nine-month prison sojurn; the founding of the League of Canadian Poets and the Writers' Union of Canada; and, the establishment of the Public Lending Rights Commission of Canada.

The fonds consists of records relating to his career as a journalist and to his family life in Victoria. It has been arranged in two series, Autobiography and Writing. The Autobiography series consists of Archies autobiographical works, which document his service in World War I and his family life and career. It has been arranged into three sub-series: All in A Lifetime, My Life in the Army, and Travel. The Writing series consists of his published and unpublished work, and background material for it. The series shows his interest in making new generations of Victoria residents aware of their citys history and aware of World War I history. It has been arranged into two sub-series: Articles and Stories, and Broadcasts. Records include typed manuscripts, clippings of Archies published articles, photographs including photograph albums, diaries, scrapbooks, war medals, and ephemera.

The fonds consists of administrative files relating to the organization of the 1976 Annual Conference of the CAAS and background material relating to the 1971, 1974 and 1975 conferences, including correspondence of Professor Edgar S. Efrat, invitations and membership lists; abstracts of papers and copies of papers resented at the 1976 conference); reports, journals and other publications relating to African countries and used as background information for the 1976 conference.
