Fonds consists of the memoirs and reminiscences of Mrs. Eleanora Heal ( nee Leckie-Ewing) produced between 1958-1978. Includes photocopies of the original handwritten manuscript and typed transcript. The manuscript was started by Mrs. Heal in 1958, the year of B.C.'s Centennial, and details the life and activities of her parents, as well as her own. Starting in 1890, Mrs. Heal describes the Ewing-Leckie family background and history, her parents journey to Canada, their settlement on the west side of Okanagan Lake and the reason why the area was later named Ewing's Landing. Mrs. Heal includes a significant amount of historical background on the area and its inhabitants, local native history, memories of her early childhood, special events, and places she travelled.

Includes correspondence to and from Mr. & Mrs. Angus Gray, managers and caretakers of the property, in regard to the activities taking place at the school. Of particular note is the 1948 letter to Mr. Gray from a Logan Mayhew, the chairman of the B.C. Board of Governors, in which the disposal of the Fintry school and property is discussed.

Fonds consists of the financial records of the Gateby Ladies' Club & Tea Rooms from 1924-1926. Includes a ledger containing the alphabetically indexed revenues and expenditures of the Club. Expenditures include expense accounts with various city businesses, general tea room expenses, maintenance fees, furniture and fixture purchases, light, water, telephone, and fuel expenses, as well as employee wages. Incoming revenues consist mainly of member subscriptions, boarders and the tea room profits. Also included in the ledger are a listing of the capital accounts of Miss B. Yeatman, owner and proprietor of the Gateby Ladies' Club and Tea Rooms.

The G.H.E. Hudson fonds consists of 201 glass negatives and 227 photographs produced by well-known commercial photographer, G.H.E. Hudson, between 1907-1916. Commissioned by the government to photograph aspects of Valley life for pictorial settlement brochures, Hudson's fonds documents everyday life and activities throughout the Okanagan Valley. The fonds includes portraits, group photos, local celebrations and events, Camp Vernon military activities, business stills of Vernon, Armstrong, Enderby and Lumby, a series of panoramas of the Valley, the Kettle Valley railroad construction, and views of the Okanagan Lake sternwheelers.

Fonds consists of the business records of the Glover Rice Hardware Co. from Jan-June of 1912. Includes a hardbound ledger divided into three sections containing a list of all customer accounts, the individual customer credit accounts, and the company's general revenue and expenditures. The company's general financial accounts, which include entries for initial capital, wages paid, merchandise purchased, duty and freight costs, and all accounts payable and receivable, are found on pp.1-29 and 91-94. The customer credit accounts, which consist of the customer's name, date of purchases, payments on account and account balances, are found on p.117-268. The ledger abruptly ends in June 1912 with notations about being "transferred to L.L. ledger".

Fonds consists of the business records of the Government Agent's Office, from 1919-1965. Includes the 'Estates Wound Up' administrative ledger and log book used by various government agents, including Norm Schultz, to document the official distribution of provincially administered estates. Alphabetically arranged, each estate record gives the name of the deceased, the date and place of death, a listing of all personal effects (land, money, household goods), their values, the disposition of the effects, a listing of the funeral expenses, payment of the deceased's outstanding debts, and any estate settlement fees. Fonds also includes ephemera regarding estate auction sales and a photograph.

Fonds consists of the records compiled by Robert Hobson and members of the Greater Vernon Heritage Advisory Committee research team, from 1984-1986. Collected during the team's compilation of a heritage resource inventory of homes and buildings in the Greater Vernon area, the records include both original and copied materials dating from 1874-1986. The records include primary and secondary research materials, research notes, historical papers and essays, heritage assessments, reports, photographs of potential heritage homes, buildings and sites, and numerous maps, plans and blueprints of the surveyed sites and buildings within the Okanagan region.
