This subseries contains miscellaneous reference materials that were not related to scholarly communications or public relations materials. It was originally a division in the museum library collection. Record types include guides, assorted journal articles and reports, newspaper articles, and best practices.

The fonds consists of records relating to Hennessy’s 2003 MA thesis titled The Spirit of Collaboration: Exploring Critical Pedagogical Principles in Transforming the Museum Through Space and Time. Hennessy was interested in the relationships that developed between community members and museum staff during the process of putting together the Museum of Anthropology’s exhibit The Spirit of Islam, which ran from October 2001 to May 2002. Her purpose was to document the kinds of collaborative processes that occurred as the exhibit planning progressed in order to identify a model from which other museums working with communities might benefit.

The fonds is divided into four series and that contain addresses to graduating classes by Guy and Davis Graham, Salmon Arm Quee Coronation programs, Ethel Graham's 1939 autograph book, and examination records.

The fonds is divided into seven series including reports, journals, student projects, two groups of newsletters, lists, a cash book and photographs.

The fonds consists of records made or received by the TeleLearning Network's management office in the course of administering the Network's affairs.

Activities documented include Annual General Meetings and meetings of the Board of Directors and TeleLearning committees, Network financial administration and budgeting, communications, media relations and web presence, the holding of annual TeleLearning Conferences, NCE reporting, management of research projects, and promotion of TeleLearning spin-off companies.

Record media include paper, electronic (spreadsheets, word-processing documents, graphics formats, and html files), optical disks, audio tapes, photographs, graphics and artifacts.

The fonds consists of correspondence with both published and prospective authors, other university presses, distributors, agents and departmental staff, reviews and newspaper clippings about published material; minutes of meetings, and reports of financial standing; grant applications, and program and award descriptions. The fonds has been divided into the following series and sub-series: Correspondence (comprised of the following sub-series: Bill C.Y. Li; Jane C. Fredeman and Tony Blicq; Institute of Pacific Relations); Financial; Committees; Grants, Awards, and Programs; Administration and Organization; Other Publishers, Agents and Distributors; Published Works; and Reviews.

The fonds consists of photographs (35mm negatives), and video and audio recordings. They document a wide variety of important people, events and activities at the University of British Columbia. It is arranged in two series: Photographic and Audio Visual.
Most of these materials were actually created by Information Services and Community Relations, the predecessor agencies of Public Affairs.

Fonds consists of laboratory manuals published by the UBC Department of Physics between 1949 and 1966 (most dated 1957-1962); mimeographed hand-outs for experiments and other assignments; hand-written lecture notes; and a 1944 Canadian Army physics laboratory manual. Many of the manuals are annotated. The manuals are bound, but the notes and hand-outs are loose; all have been placed in acid-free folders. They are arranged by course number, and then chronologically; unnumbered materials, and folders containing unsorted material from various courses, were placed at the end.
Fonds also includes promotional materials, many of which relate specifically to the Department of Physics at university-wide Open Houses, annual reports from the Department of Physics, notes made by Professor John Warren regarding x-rays and particle physics, as well as photographs taken of individuals, groups, and events related to the Department of Physics.

Series consists of records relating to research, essays, and projects undertaken in fulfillment of requirements toward Searcy’s Bachelor of Arts, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Ministry degrees.

Fonds consists of paper records and videocassettes from the British Columbia Conference Division of Communications, and its predecessor, the Information and Stewardship Committee.

Series consists of records relating to publications such as books, essays and articles written both by and about Rev. Lydia Gruchy including the graduation thesis of Lydia Gruchy, multiple articles and biographies, interviews, and a school yearbook.

This subseries consists of records related to administrative, operational, and financial functions at at the School of Psychiatric Nursing as well as records from its events and graduations. The subseries also includes some records from New Westminster Public Hospital for the Insane, with unclear chain of custody.

Series consists of records relating to Harrison’s teaching and worship leadership activities at the Vancouver School of Theology. Includes lecture notes, sermons, and orders of service.

This series consists of records created and accumulated by the School of Psychiatric Nursing at Riverview Hospital. It includes administrative and financial records that informed the operation of the School, annuals (yearbooks) of each graduating class of the School, the publications accumulated from national psychiatric nursing organizations, as well as graduation and departmental photographs.

Record types in this series include manuals, reports, policies, handbooks, staff lists, event programmes and invitations, minutes, study notes, yearbooks, and publications.

Fonds consists primarily of records made or received by F. Margaret Hayward in her role as director of the Reading and Study Centre at SFU. Includes reading and study course materials developed for the Centre, a survey of reading and study programs across Canada, correspondence relating to Hayward's appointment and work at the Centre, an oral history of F. Margaret Hayward recorded by Letty Wilson, former administrator at SFU, and a photograph of the opening ceremonies at SFU.

Scope & Content: Fonds consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence by the Festival Coordinator regarding festival planning, minutes and agendas of the Executive Committee, financial records and budget statements, reports and summaries for the 1997 and 1998 festivals, promotional and advertising materials including sample buttons, passports, brochures and informational memos and press releases distributed to media outlets and businesses, assorted public relations and promotional documents including fundraising and sponsorship reports and summaries, photographs from the festival and related newspaper clippings. The fonds consists of newspaper articles on John Ferry and several documents related to Carney Ferry's work as a CNR agent. The bulk of the fonds documents William Dow Ferry's accomplishments, from his sixth grade report card to law school transcripts, university diplomas and certificates of appointment. Most photos are formal shots of William Ferry but one series relates to his military service, including photographs of soldiers in Whitehorse ca. 1940.

The fonds consists of records made and received by the Institute of Fisheries Analysis in the course of administering its day-to-day operations. Activities and topics documented include the establishment, organization, and operation of the Institute (including its physical space); budget and funding; projects, programs, and agreements; IFA publications and publicity; and student, staff, and IFA member relations. Records in the fonds include correspondence, minutes, contracts, internal directories, reports, discussion papers, subject files (relating to fisheries research), press clippings, and IFA brochures.

Note that the records of the Institute of Fisheries Analysis contain university records from the Centre for Canadian Studies and the Department of Economics and Commerce. This anomaly likely occurred because of Parzival Copes’s involvement as director and instructor within each of these bodies. The records he used would have been maintained together in whichever office he occupied. This subseries consists of newsletters produced by the Como Lake Preschool.

This subseries consists of nursing annuals (yearbooks) given to nursing students at their graduation. The annuals include lists of graduating students and their photographs, as well as other information about the school year. Additionally, the subseries includes two reunion books for the graduating classes of 1957 and 1958.
