Northfield School DistrictThe collection consists of nautical charts created by over forty institutions, including the Canadian Hydrographic Service, the Admiralty Hydrographic Office, the U.S. Navy Hydrographic Office, the Danish Hydrographic Office, the London Board of Trade and the British East Indian Company. The largest number focus on waters around British Columbia, along with a number of surveys charting the coast of Alaska. The collection also includes charts, including Admiralty charts, of water of the United States, Europe, Africa, and Australia and New Zealand. The collection also contains LORAN charts, meteorological charts, fleet reviews and shipwreck charts.
The collection consists of copies of the original signatures of the 29 petitioners who requested the incorporation of the Langley and Derby district into a municipality on March 23, 1872, and typed lists of the petitioners' names [1973].

Provincial Police", a daily journal (1899-1907) for an unidentified detachment of the British Columbia Provincial Police compiled by Otway Wilkie and describing police activities in the Fraser Valley, a journal (1937) compiled by Constable S.M. Millar of the Barkerville Detachment describing police activities in the Barkerville and Wells area, and a daily journal (1906-1911) of the New Westminster office, blank BCPP stationery, 2 copies of the BCPP Regulations (1924, 1937), and 2 issues of the "Shoulder Strap", the BCPP journal. Fonds also consists of detailed records of the BCPP's Langley, B.C. Police Department, primarily compiled by Police Chiefs Robert Macklin and C.Y. Robertson, including ledgers containing records of cases and dispositions (1924-1927, 1934, 1939-1942), Provincial Police Court records (1912, 1924-1925, 1942-1954), semi-annual reports to the Langley Board of Police Commissioners (1925, 1937-1939), minutes of the Langley Board of Police Commissioners (1912-1938), a 1935 citation for a medal awarded to R. Macklin by His Majesty the King, and a 1932 petition to the Police Commissioners of the Municipality of Langley requesting reconsideration in the matter of the Police Chief.
British Columbia Provincial PoliceThe fonds includes the research records and documents of the research group created and collected in the course of the project, which include theses, essays, interviews, papers, articles, news paper clippings, press releases, statistics, reports, acts and bills, oral history interview transcripts and tapes, and other records relating to the subject area of the project. The files also include transcripts of interviews with B C politicians and government administrators and research material gathered from a number of sources. Subjects include aboriginal issues, economic development, education, energy, environment, health, labour, land use, the legislative process, federalism, forestry, political parties, public service, and women's experience. The fonds consists of the following series: Catalogue series,1978-1983, Data Bank series, 1952-1983, and Oral history interview series, 1964-1987. All files were assigned a Data Bank Number by project staff (DB No. 1-1058). Several unnumbered files have been assigned numbers by Archives staff (DB No. 1059-1066).
