Noel Oxenbury competed at the 1938 British Empire Games in Sydney and won a gold medal in the 4×110 yard freestyle relay alongside Phyllis Dewar, Dorothy Lyon, and Mary Baggaley. She also placed fourth in the 3×110 yard medley relay with Baggaley and Joan Langdon and competed in the 110 yard backstroke. Due to the onset of World War II, the games were not held again until 1950.This series consists of newspaper clippings, photographs, a diary, and miscellaneous items related to her participation at the 1938 British Empire Games.

MacInnis, Martin B.These films contain parts filmed by Norman Lidster and parts purchased by him that have been spliced together on the same film reel. Parts of film shot by Norman are scenes of a trip to Yellowstone National Park, the New Westminster Hyack Anvil Battery, family scenes and a trip to Grand Coulee Dam. Parts of film purchased by Norman include multiple 1920s Hollywood short clips on various topics.
Lidster, Hugh Norman, b. 1888Series consists of historical notes written by T. Ellis Ladner's father, Thomas Ladner, in shorthand format. Series documents the social and economic life of the early settlements in Delta. Series includes a transcript of the shorthand notes.
Series consists of minutes of regular and special meetings of the Board of Police Commissioners which document the Board's role of overseeing police activities, staffing, accounts and equipments, as well as its duty to report to the Municipal Council and to receive complaints from the public. Included in the minute book for meetings from 1915-1920 are the Chief of Police's monthly and annual reports, which include arrest reports and financial reports of the Police Department. Minutes of meetings of the Board between 1920 and 1927 are missing.

Included is a photocopy of a copy of an original document announcing the death of Sorensen’s great-grandfather, Mozes van Dam; an original notice of registration from the American Consulate in Rotterdam, Netherlands; an official identity card for Marianne Stein (née van Dam); forged identity cards used by Sorensen’s mother, Marianne Stein, and great aunt, Jansje van Dam; and original ration cards used to receive textiles and to buy food staples like potatoes, butter, bread, milk and meat.

Muir, John, 1849-1939Series consists of records that were obtained from the Brunswick Cannery site after is was operated as a fishing camp for the Imperial plant at Steveston (1930-1939). After 1939 the buildings were reopened and used for net and boat storage and local Japanese fishermen and their families resided in some of the buildings along with other fishermen and a caretaker. Records contain information regarding residents and fish tallies between 1941-1942.
