Series consists of log books recording the daily operation of tug boats used in the B.C. Packers' oyster operation, mainly the M.V. East Delta, M.V. E.F.N., Togo No. 1, and M.V. Jervis Queen. Major contents include destination and time on each course, weather conditions and nature of work. The boats were largely used to tow scows loaded with oysters tot eh plant in Delta, and to position empty scows over the oyster beds. At low tide the empty scows would land near the beds to which the workers would walk and harvest the oysters. Full scows were then floated back to the plant. The "East Delta" was used by Mr. Christoperhson to travel to other oyster operations, and became a second home for John and Grace after the closure of the plant in Boundary Bay.

The records also include invoices for taxes from Delta Municipality, and Delta Dyking and Drainage Scheme, on Lots 158 to 161, dated November 15, 1909.
Fraser, John WilliamSeries consists of records relating to community wide fundraising campaigns organized initially by the Vancouver Jewish Community Fund and then by the Fund and Council operating under the Jewish Community Trust Fund of Vancouver. Included are lists of names assigned to the volunteer canvassers, canvasser lists, lists of donors and the amounts given, and staple bound books of donations receipt copies.
The series consists of early material relating to the establishment of Congregation Emanu-El. These five manuscripts are some of the earliest records extant of any activities of the first Jewish congregation on the West Coast of Canada.
The eighteen letters from Abraham Blackman in Victoria to his brother Morris document the development and changes of their mercantile business in Victoria, New Westminster, and the Cariboo during the heyday of the Cariboo Gold Rush.
