Generally, committee reports presented at the meetings are summarized in the minutes. The reports which were tabled at the Annual General Meetings and Semi-Annual/Half Yearly meetings are maintained as a separate series. Please see Reports Presented at the Annual General Meetings. The minute books of the Executive Committee also contain the minutes of the Annual General Meetings of the British Columbia Mountaineering Club for the period 1914-1976 (with gaps). These minutes are later separated out to form their own series. Beginning in 2001, the AGM minutes are once again included within the series of Executive minutes (2001-2006). There appear to be earlier minutes which are no longer extant. The minutes for the first meeting in the earliest minute book in this series refer to minutes of a previous meeting in their initial entry. There are also no extant minutes for the Executive for the periods 1921-1930 and 1976-1984.
