The collection consists of a wide variety of material relating to Delta. It includes leaflets, tickets, memberships cards, raffle tickets, voters' lists, photographs, programs, and booklets. The photographs depict Delta people and places. Also included are records of the Delta Community Band, some records of the Ladner Optimist and the Delta Centennial Committee.

The fonds consists of correspondence relating to Murray Davie's agricultural activities, and copies of records of the Delta Agricultural Society and Delta Co-Operative Breeders Society shares book (1929). The fonds contains photographs of Davie and Savage family members in portraits and participating in farm and community activities, as well as photographs of farms, barns, prize animals, and local scenes.

Trevitt family fonds

The fonds consists of correspondence, clippings, World War II memorabilia, marriage and baptismal certificates, financial records, and genealogical notes belonging to members of the Trevitt and Gillanders families. The fonds also consists of correspondence related to the establishment of the Trevitt marina at Deas Slough, and minutes (1975-1977), financial records and correspondence of the Delta Historical and Museum Society. The fonds contains photographs of Trevitt and Gillanders family members and friends, local scenes, farms and buildings, and various social activities, as well as photographs and postcards from John Robert Trevitt's time in the service. The fonds is arranged into 6 series: 1) Edna Trevitt's World War II memorabilia; 2) Gay and John Trevitt's personal records; 3) John Trevitt's military service records; 4) Deas Slough marina records; 5) Gay Trevitt's records from the Delta Historical and Museum Society and other community commitments, and; 6) Photographs.

The fonds consists of a Boy Scouts "Troop Record Book" in which are recorded the names of the members of two patrols of a Ladner scout troop and its financial records for 1916. Reverend Garbett was its leader. A gap occurs in the book until 1934 when the troop is reconstituted as the 1st Ladner Boy Scout Troop. The Troop Record Book records members' attendance and fees paid until 1942. The fonds also includes receipts for membership and applications for membership, 1938-1939; and records of boys' names and addresses and tests passed, 1935-1938.

The fonds consists of minutes, programs, correspondence, club bulletins, photographs, histories, newsclippings and other textual material related to the community service activities and the administration of the Kinsmen Club of Ladner-Tsawwassen. Fonds includes records pertaining to the planning and construction of Kinsmen House, the Kinsmen Water Park and Mountain View Park playground as well as other records pertaining to other charitable activities. Fonds also includes records pertaining to the administration of the Club and its relationship with other Kinsmen bodies on a provincial and national basis. Included in the fonds are membership rosters of Kinsmen Clubs in British Columbia and the constitution and by-laws of the Association of Kinsmen Clubs. Social functions involving the Kinsmen Club of Ladner-Tsawwassen are also documented in this scrapbook. Fonds also includes a copy of the Club's constitution and two loose photographs.

Fonds also consists of more than 50 publications and photographs created by the Chamber, local governments and other civic associations. Edgar Dunning fonds

The fonds consists of Mr. Dunning's family and business records; records accumulated as a member of various community organizations; and documents, manuscripts, and photographs resulting from Edgar's work for the Delta newspaper, the Optimist, and his interest in Delta community events and history. Family records include correspondence and legal records regarding the property on 48th Avenue and Delta Street, as well as financial and educational certificates. A large series of memorabilia includes invitations and other ephemera, which Edgar accumulated as publisher and reporter for the Optimist and as active community member. Business records are largely from the Optimist printing business, and include examples of print products such as invitations, programs, letterheads, tickets, municipal reports, etc., which were printed for local people and businesses of Delta. A small series of Optimist newspaper records include lists of subscribers from the 1940s. The fonds includes a sample of Edgar's writings for the Optimist on historical topics, plus a larger group of manuscripts that have been edited by him in his capacity as editor of the Optimist and as an interested and knowledgeable local historian. The fonds also consists of minutes of meetings, correspondence, reports, etc. accumulated by Edgar as a member of the Delta Community Band, various centennial committees, the Delta Historical and Museum Society, and other organizations. Edgar is a talented amateur photographer, and his photograph collection reflects his work as a reporter and his interest in the people and events of Delta. Ethel Mowat fonds

The fonds consists of records and photographs that document the activities of Ethel's parents, children and husband, and collections of photographs, taped and transcribed interviews, historical notes, and records accumulated in her function as member of various organizations, author of a memoir "From Dawn to the Twilight Years", and local historian. The fonds contains miscellaneous records of the I.O.D.E. and the Delta Museum and Archives, and photographs of members of the I.O.D.E. and Dugout committee. The fonds holds a collection of Mowat family photographs used in Ethel's memoir; a collection of records and photographs, largely belonging to the McKee family, found at the McKee House prior to its renovation as a Senior Citizen's Centre; and a collection of taped and transcribed interviews with Ethel and Sid Mowat, and others conducted by Ethel with local residents, including Bob Trim and Rosetta Saga.
