Inner-left depicts three blue flowers, inner right is preprinted poem in black ink. Handwritten black ink inscription reads "Guess who sends you this?" Envelope bears round black ink stamp "VANCOUVER ; FEB 11 ; 6 PM ; 1947 ; B.C." Black ink wave stamp on recto and verso. Handwritten black ink address "Dr L Broe. ; c/o Royal Columbian hosp. ; New Westminster, ; BC".

Postage stamp is red, worth 4 cents, issued 1943, depicting King George IV in military regalia. Black ink wave stamp across recto aligns with that on envelope.
