Murry, John Middleton, 1889-1957The fonds consists of contact sheets of 19 rolls of film taken during Brown's trip to China, including views of palaces, Buddhist temples, mountains in northern China, the Great Wall of China, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Canton. Each has an accompanying page, identifying the photographs, copied from Brown's field notes, copies of the original 35 mm negatives (reverse view), and a photocopy of a map of China with Brown's route traced in red.
