The fonds consists of the personal diaries kept by Lieutenant Colonel Bapty from 1935 to 1942, as well as a collection of various memorandums, reports, and ephemera from this period. It also contains addresses, essays and lectures given by Bapty on military matters, including modern developments in warfare, the Scottish regiments, discipline and leadership, Pacific problems during World War II, and the objectives of military training; records of the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's), 2nd Battalion, including slate of officers, lists of exercises, correspondence and operation orders; personal records of Walter Bapty, including commissions and certificates, personal correspondence, records relating to militia staff courses and nominal roll for officers in medical courses; newspapers and clippings dealing with Bapty's participation in the Boer War and World War II, and Bapty's obituary; drawing of Bapty, photograph of Mrs. Bapty, and photographs of Bapty with the Canadian Scottish Regiment.
Bapty, Walter, 1884-1973The fonds consists of sixty-two handwritten letters and one postcard to the Wallace family. Most are from Edith J. Lyttleton (godmother) to Paul A. W. Wallace during his service in England during WWII. Lyttleton also wrote a few letters to Dorothy (Mrs. Paul Wallace) and to Professor F. H. Wallace (Paul's father?). The other letters are to Paul from Helena Coleman and Marjorie Pickthall.

Maugham, W. Somerset (William Somerset), 1874-1965The fonds consists primarily of typescript from "The Nightfishing" used for a radio broadcast; poetry worksheets for "Implements In Their Places", "Malcolm Mooney's Land", and "The Nightfishing"; correspondence with Crieff Williamson and Robin Skelton; and four notebooks, together with Robin Skelton's research notes. Also included is a typescript of "Aimed At Nobody", which was published posthumously, together with related publishing documents and correspondence. The final items are two folders of Graham's artwork and a silk screen portrait of Graham by William Featherston.
Graham, W. S. (William Sydney), 1918-1986The collection consists of photographs and postcards from Africa, South East Asia, China, Japan, and Korea. Those items from China and surrounding countries appear to be from about the time of The Boxer Rebellion. Only one photograph is dated ( a Korean one -1899). Also included is a copy of the "Gaelic Roller". The S.S. Gaelic appears to have been an American vessel on a journey from Honolulu to the Philippines. The ship's 'paper' has as its editors J. S. MacNider (Shanghai), Grant Wallace (Evening Bulletin, San Francisco), and H. J. Whigham (Morning Post, London). They have signed the front page. The copy is a holograph paste-up version.

(Wystan Hugh), 1907-1973The fonds consists of RCAF Pilot's Flying Log Book, written by Rolls while at No. 6 Elementary Flying Training School (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), 1941; RCAF Observer's and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book, while Rolls was at No. 3 Air Observer School, Regina, No. 12 Observers G.R. Course (1942), and with RCAF Squadrons, 1942-1945, including copies of messages from Eastern Air Command and monthly analysis of flying and proficiency assessments. Fonds includes various loose enclosures.

They appear to be limited copies for consideration amongst the group participants. Also included is a corrected typescript copy of "Stacked-Verse"(Aug., 1962, 40 pp.) by Lionel Kearns. Among the contributors represented are George Bowering, Fred Wah, Judy Copithorne, Rona Haddon (Murray), David Bromige, Clark Coolidge, John E. Hill, James Reid, Dan McLeod, Linda Wagner, etc.
Tish groupThe collection consists of a handwritten postcard to Moira (Troup), a former employee of the McPherson Library, University of Victoria. It is signed “Tiff”. In addition, there are two theatre programmes, which feature both Troup and Findley in the respective casts: Crest Theatre Foundation (Toronto) production of The Entertainer by John Osborne, and The Straw Hat Players (Port Carling) in Escapade By Roger MacDougal (Findley also directed), plus a hc from “Tiff”.

Lander, TimThe fonds consists of two typed transcriptions of letters sent home to his family. He talks about his journey over to Great Britain and his experience of an enemy bombing attack on London. Also included are copies of a mimeographed shipboard daily newspaper, The Drunken Duchess (#2-5). H.M.T. Duchess of York was the ship which transported Walker to Great Britain.
