The first several reels? contents are specifically listed reel by reel; after 1974, reel numbers are simply annotated on copies of the file indexes.

Series consists of Clerk?s correspondence arranged alphabetically by subject. Subjects range from permit applications, auctions, air pollution, budgets, electrical and water service, elections, finance, garbage disposal, the Historical Society, insurance claims, the library, parks, public hearings, schools, recreation, superannuation, voters? lists, tax assessment and zoning. Alphabetic miscellaneous files proceed each letter block and in some years as a block of ?miscellaneous A-Z? files are located together at the beginning of annual block.

Earliest material was filmed in 1961 and subsequent filming was done roughly on an annual basis. Filming was done in batches, with closed files pulled for filming and active ones carried forward to the next year. Specific titles of filmed files are listed along with
notes regarding their annual status (i.e. pulled or brought forward), in a series of annual indexes. An index to the individual microfilm reels was created in the 1990s.

Series consists of copies of file register sheets and one "file system index" bound volume which document the registration of files and series, and thereby classifying, arranging, and maintaining the records of the Municipal government. The typed and handwritten file register sheets have additional handwritten annotations in the margins. The "filing system index" is a red bound volume, 28 x 35 x 2.5 cm in size, with appended stapled and taped pages. The file system index is the master controlling list for registering files, bylaws and record series. This index also includes annotations indicating transfers of records and other pointers to related or subsequent series.

Series consists of clergy records, letters of consecration of bishops' elections in Canada and throughout the world, letters of confirmation of election of bishops, appointments of diocesan officials, licensing declarations, letters testimonial of good behavior of clergy or "Bene Discessit", letters of ordination, letters of "Si Quis", extracts from the minutes of the House of Bishops, oaths of canonical obedience, oaths of allegiance, sentences of dedication, mandates of induction, notices of relinquishment and consecration of churches, and various other documents. Also includes Registrar's register of episcopal acts (1879-1909) consisting of transcriptions of notarial act for consecration of Bishop Sillitoe, declarations and oaths of clergy (1905-1937), and photocopy of clergy licenses register (1959-1991). The first volume contains only declarations of allegiance, declarations of canonical obedience, declarations against simony, and declarations to perform office (1905-1931).

Included in this series are records relating to the installation of air raid and fire warning sirens, the provision of emergency sewage and water services, as well as records of the Emergency Committee. Also included is a job description for a Emergency Program Coordinator position, a bylaw to indemnify Municipal officers and employees from damage claims, and an emergency response bylaw.
