Personal records consist of early correspondence and household records, as well as material which documents W.A.C. Bennett's association with freemasonry and his fundraising activities with organizations such as the Salvation Army.

Business records consist of material relating to Bennett Hardware, Bennett’s Stores, and Calona Wines.

Political records refer to Bennett's tenure as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for South Okanagan, as Premier and as leader of the Opposition. Also relevant are records referring to the passage of a number of Municipal Acts and Bennett’s relationship with Federal politics.

Fonds is arranged into four series and consists of aerial photographs and negatives, paper maps, and overlay. Majority of photographs are black and white. Color photographs date between 1989 and 1990. A separate collection is arranged for use by silverculturists dating between 1984 and 1990. Photographs are color. Aerial photographs were taken by the Department of National Defense and later by the British Columbia government. Fonds includes air photograph map indices. These map indices show flight line location and numbering of aerial photos taken between 1952 and 1994. Fonds also includes forestry district overlays; enlarged aerial negatives and photos; map mosaics; recreation maps of areas from Chase to Revelstoke to Oyama, BC; grazing area permits and licenses on crown land; and Federated Co-Operative Operational Cut Block Plans.

Also includes materials about the resettlement project that B.C. Hydro carried out during the Columbia River Project. Types of subject areas found within this series include, but are not limited to: mine, plant, labour, and townsite operations at the company towns of Cassiar and Clinton Creek (including community activities associated therein and townsite development); construction of plant and mine buildings ; mines and equipment not owned by Cassiar Asbestos Corporation, but which are believed to have been used for operational research purposes ; aerial photographs ; company exploration of further mineral deposits outside of Cassiar ; official tours ; community images, promotional material ; executive portraits. The fonds consists of briefs presented to the Royal Commission on Forest Resources in British Columbia. The Commission received 194 briefs from a wide range of interested societies, firms, professional associations, local governments, labour groups, and other organizations, as well as individuals. The fonds also includes briefs from both the Forest Policy Advisory Committee (1977) which invited submissions reacting to Pearse's final report and from the Select Standing Committee on Forestry and Fisheries (1973). There is also a small collection of speeches by others pertaining to the forest industry (1955-1971).

Posters include salt water and food chains, common mosses, BC shellfish and Pacific Salmon. Fonds also includes The Theed Pearse Collection. Pearse was a naturalist, ornithologist and author. The Theed Pearse Collection consists of 209 photographs and 417 slides depicting scenery and natural history of Comox Valley as well as travel photos of California and Europe. Collection includes some Pearse family photographs.

The fonds focuses on the business and financial records kept by Pete Casorso. The files represent his business interests whether it is Mountview Sawmills Ltd. Pioneer Ranch, Casorso Brothers Ltd. and the many properties he owned or co-owned, mining interests (especially Lexington Mines Ltd. and Notre Dames Des Mines). The collection consists of rare and difficult to obtain limited distribution documents relating to specific case studies, most of which have been printed and distributed by governments and industrial agencies. They generally contain environmental data, and may have interpretive sections. Some documents contain copies of government permits and associated correspondence. The collection is arranged in five primary research subjects: Pulp and Paper Mills, Toxicolocy, Victoria Sewage, Coast and Island Mines, and Regional Collections. Each subject is divided into case studies. Within each case study, documents are arranged in alphabetical order by author.

The fonds consists of the records and documents of the Lytton Water Supply Company Ltd., from 1911-1930, 1940 and 1947. Includes company minutes and financial records which outline the company's internal administration and community activities. The last minutes in this book are dated June 6, 1930, and this is the only book which has surfaced so far. This book also includes the list of shareholders and their 'shares' history, and the list of directors from Nov. 6, 1914 to 1949.
