Cassette tape is of a back and forth discussion by an environmentalist (possibly Martin Keeley) vs. a logging developer’s father who is speaking on behalf of his son who could not make it to the meeting. The environmentalist is pushing for better rights around development and logging, specifically in Point Roberts or Delta. He is also seeking rightful cause in logging the suggested area. The developer’s father is sidestepping questions and not responding well to any accusations about his son’s company. The person in question may be from the Toigo family but there is no certainty.
Volunteer notes have been included in with the cassette tape.
Cassette may have been used by Martin Keeley or other members of the Friends of Boundary Bay, the Point Roberts Heron Preservation Committee, the Boundary Bay Conservation Committee or the Fraser for Life.

Photographs show the Grand Opening of the GVRD's Iona Beach Regional Park on August 19, 1990. The photographs show Premier Bill Vander Zalm interacting with the public and being filmed by media cameras, as well as talking more intimately with 3 other unknown people. In the foreground of photographs 2 through 17, three children can be seen dressed up in the Friends of Boundary Bay or Fraser for Life Interpretive Programs costumes. The children could be representing the organizations at the grand opening. All of the photographs in this file are very similar, showing only small changes in where Vander Zalm is looking or who he is talking to.
All photograph prints are 3.5x5 and negatives are 1x1.5.

Photographs show one of the committee's founding members, Linda George, giving an interpretive presentation to a group of Boundary Bay Brownies (Girl Guides) on the great blue heron. The group of girls is sitting in front of the woman while she is standing or kneeling. The woman is seen holding a sheet of paper with pictures of the great blue heron in some of the photographs. An enlarged floating great blue heron has been constructed behind the woman. The heron was used as a puppet or prop for the Committee. The photographs were taken in Point Roberts, Washington at the Baptist Church Camp, for the Point Roberts Heron Preservation Committee. There is a short article regarding the event in The Heron News for Summer 1989, published by the Point Roberts Heron Preservation Committee.

A second scan contains the photograph along with a clear plastic that has been placed over the photo and annotations have been provided regarding areas that have already been subdivided, an area that was clear-cut in 1989 and the approximate location of the Heron Rookery in Point Roberts.
On the reverse of the photograph, the date and copyright information is stamped for the company Airphoto 85. Their contact information is also provided, Airphoto 85 - Aerial Photographers, P.O. Box 58441, 1380 S.W. Marine Drive, Vancouver B.C. Canada, V6S 6K2. This contact information may be out of date.

The majority of the photographs show a great blue heron that has been placed inside of a fenced in area and one photograph shows a group of great blue herons wading into the ocean. The photographs was taken by or for the Point Roberts Heron Preservation Committee. The man in the photographs is Floyd Wilson (Manager of the Gas Barn) and the heron is nicknamed "Gus." Wilson tried to nurse the heron back to health in the summer 1989. An article was printed in the All Point Bulletin and The Heron News for summer 1989.
