Cultural programming

Sub-series consists of records generated as a result of the cultural programming activity of the VHEC and/or the VHCS. Records in sub-series include promotional and educational materials, budgets, publicity, correspondence and guest lists related to events organized or sponsored by the VHEC or the VHCS. Sub-series is further divided into sub-sub-series based on cultural form: Film and video events (1992–[2003]), Book events (1992–2003), Art and photography events (1989–1998), Music, theatre and radio events (1994–2009) and Other cultural events (1991–2005).

File consists of documents generated or kept by the VHEC as a result of their participation in an event co-presented with the Consulate General of Sweden in honour of Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg. Records include promotional material, newspaper clippings, City of Vancouver proclamation of Raoul Wallenberg Day, rental agreement, correspondence and minutes of meetings.

Sub-series consists of grant applications, faxes, announcements, correspondence and colour slides depicting student artwork featured in the Building Bridges: Student Art Exhibit exhibition, as well as photographs of the exhibition and mural creation. Building Bridges was on display in summer 1996.

Sub-series also includes records to do with Shanghai oral history project and coinciding "Why do Jewish Women Play Mah-Jongg?" program.
