The collection consists of certificates, notes and report cards relating to Cheverton's education; correspondence, certificates and a sound recording relating to the Hudson's Bay Company 250th anniversary essay contest; general correspondence relating to memorial services, civil defence training, and other general topics; and a collection of postcards. Photographs of the Richmond area have yet to be arranged or described.

Collection consists of the journals and scrapbooks of various individuals. Topics include, but are not limited to, the Canadian Pacific Railway, McDonald farm financial transactions, the Girl Guides, the Richmond Junior Soccer League, and the Richmond Parent-Teacher Council.

Elva Moreside fonds

Fonds consists primarily of records related to Elva Moreside's education and to her career as a teacher of new Canadians and as a librarian at Lord Byng School. Fonds includes certificates and diplomas, notes and essays written for courses at the Province of British Columbia Summer School of Education, teaching notes, lesson plans and teaching materials, and class photos. Also included are a number of newsclipping files, organized by topic and related to Richmond's history and development, and a small number of photographs depicting Richmond houses and the United Church on Cambie Road. The records have been arranged in five series: 1. Diplomas and certificates; 2. Essays and class notes; 3. Teaching records; 4. Newspaper clippings; 5. Photographs.

Also included are records of personal finances and charitable contributions made to the Canadian Red Cross. The 15 photograph prints depict family and community scenes.
