        History

        Patricia Koster was born in Victoria, B.C. on 25 September 1932. She received a BA in English from UBC in 1953, an MA in English from the University of California (Berkeley) in 1955, and a PhD in English from the University of London, 1958. She was appointed as an instructor at Victoria College in 1958, as an Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria in 1966, and as an Associate Professor in 1973. Her edition of "Baptist Noel Turner: Anecdotes, 1739-1826", was published in 1982. She also did research on Roger Manley and 18th century women authors.
