Biographical history

Margaret Krenbrink was a long-time Coquitlam resident who was best known for her community work as the President of the Ranch Park Ratepayers Association. She was heavily involved in local affairs and regularly attended Council meetings in Coquitlam and advocated for issues affecting the community.

Custodial history

The records were salvaged from material that had been removed from an abandoned house at 2878 Dewdney Trunk Road and discarded on the lawn. The house was scheduled for demolition several days after the records were recovered with permission from the current owner of the property.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of textual material relating to Margaret Krenbrink's involvement in several organizations and associations in Coquitlam including the Ranch Park Ratepayers Association and the Coquitlam Teacher's Association. The fonds also includes some personal advocacy correspondence and a copy of the 1980/1981 Voter's List for the District of Coquitlam.
