    Biographical history

    The club was originally called the Square Dance Club and was held at the Mesachie Community Hall and held its first meeting on Feb. 24, 1951. Len Plater acted as chairman and the following were elected: President - Doug Reimer; Vice President - George Capella; Secretary - Mrs. S. Heycock; Treasurer - Lucille Palsson. The club met every 2 weeks and after a short meeting held a dance. Rules were set up. Limit of members; Age limit of 18; No liquor; Men pay & women bring sandwiches for two. Meetings and dances were held at the Honeymoon Bay Hall and the Mesachie Lake Hall. Unknown as to when the club folded.

    Custodial history

    The records were donated in 1991 by Leona Portelance, who was a member of the club.
