History
The Penticton Museum and Archives, also known as the R.N. Atkinson Museum and Archives, was established in 1954. It is administered by the Leisure Services Department of the City of Penticton.

The archives collects records of the Corporation of the City of Penticton, historical documents and diaries of areas in the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (where no archival facilities exist), and records from private sources. Holdings also include an extensive photograph collection.
