Biographical history
The Kinsmen Club of Ladner-Tsawwassen is a service club which assists and undertakes charitable initiatives, sponsors community events and provides other services to the community. The Club received its charter on June 1, 1936, with the Chilliwack Kinsmen Club acting as sponsor. The first President was George F. Maxwell with eleven other members at the time of charter. In 1972, the Club changed its name from Kinsmen Club of Ladner to Kinsmen Club of Ladner-Tsawwassen. The Club is actively involved in fundraising events and in the past has staged barn dances, amateur shows and oyster dinners. The funds raised through these events and other means was utilized to fund various communitys ervices and construction projects such as the building of the first health centre in Delta, the construction of Kinsmen Pioneer Library, Kinsmen House and the Kinsmen Water Park in Ladner Memorial Park.

Series consists of programs and invitations to various Kinsmen Club functions and events in Delta and elsewhere in the lower mainland. Series includes a program for the official opening of the Delta Pioneer Library.
