History
The Quesnel Athletic Club was established in 1931 "to govern the sports of the district." The club coordinated various sporting activities of the time, including baseball, hockey, and basketball, and later coordinated tennis, badminton, and ping pong. The first officers of the club were: C.V. Johnston, Mrs. G.R. Baker, J.C. McGuire, G.H. Rolston, E.C. Lunn, Rev. J.C. Thompson, and Mrs. N.L. Robinson.
