Biographical history

The Rainbow River Players was established in 1980 as a subsidiary group of the Kingfisher Community Club. Brian Lussin, a founding member, was the organizer and treasurer. The group's mandate was to provide entertainment for and by Kingfisher residents. Films were shown in the Kingfisher Community Hall, and a number of plays were performed throughout the years. As children of the members grew older they also participated in a number of plays and musicals. The group folded in 1998, although one member continues to organize Christmas concerts performed by youth in the community.
