        History

        William Paul Rosler (1895-1989) was born in Germany and came to Canada with his family in 1902, settling in Davidson, Saskatchewan. William served with the Canadian Army Regina Regiment in the first World War. In 1920 he married Katherine. In 1936 they moved from Eatonia, Saskatchewan to Oliver where they owned and operated an orchard. They retired in 1954 due to failing health. William and Katherine had five daughters. Katherine died in 1971. Two years later he married his second wife, Rosa, who survived him by seven months.
