    Scope and content

The fonds consists of files of data on approximately 1400 structures collected by Jennifer Nell Barr for the Saanich Heritage Building Project. The files, which consist of written records of on-site examinations of buildings, photographs, oral histories and copies of original and secondary sources, are arranged in two series: 1) the 280 structures on which there was consensus of heritage value; and 2) the remainder of the structures considered. The files are arrange by address. The results of the survey were printed in Jennifer Nell Barr's "Saanich heritage structures: an inventory."
