The Salt Spring Island Creamery was opened in 1904 and operated by the Salt Spring Island Creamery Association, later known as the Salt Spring Island Creamery Company. The Chairman of the Board from 1904 to 1947 was Geoffrey Scott, a pioneer Salt Spring Island resident.
