        History

Springbend School was built just north of Enderby on property purchased from Mrs. Ellen Emeny in 1924. Springbend School Board was responsible for maintenance of the building, overseeing the finances and hiring the teacher. Students were hired to do the janitor work. The Springbend School Board ceased to exist in 1946 when Armstrong-Enderby School District #21 was established. The school was closed in 1950 and the building was sold to the Springbend Community Club.
