    Biographical history

The University Women's Club Oral History Project was begun in 1999 under the direction of Jacquelyn Peitchinis. The aim of the project was to preserve the history of the Victoria branch of the University Women's Club by interviewing 20 members. Each interview gathered information about the members, with a special focus on their childhood and educational experiences; their work at home and/or in their professional and volunteer lives; their activities in the University Women's Club and in their local communities. Each interviewee signed a consent form permitting public access to the interview tape. The project was completed in 2001.
