Biographical history
Rear-Admiral Victor Brodeur began his career as a cadet with the newly-formed Royal Canadian Navy. He was the commanding officer for the Pacific Command from 1943 to 1946, after which he retired from active service.

The fonds consists of Brodeur's photographs including those of the CGS Arctic leaving Quebec City for the Arctic (1906), the Esquimalt dockyard and the Admiral's House in Esquimalt.
