Custodial history
Scope and content
Series consists of correspondence, memoranda, agreements, studies and plans relating to the provision of a water supply to the City of Richmond and the planning for and maintenance of watermains. Many records in the series relate to Richmond water supply studies - including a separate study of the water supply for the east Richmond and Delta area - and Richmond's involvement with the Greater Vancouver Water District (GVWD). The series includes records relating to a joint water main between Delta and Richmond, the Tilbury main, the Sea Island-Lulu Island water main, and waterworks-related issues as part of the construction and maintenance of the Knight Street Bridge.
