Biographical history
The Whistler Mountain Ski Patrol was formed as a volunteer organization on November 4, 1966. The ski patrols promoted safe skiing and provided first aid to skiiers injured by accident or avalanche.

The fonds consists of reports, minutes of monthly and annual meetings, correspondence, membership lists, financial records and a procedure manual. Fonds also includes a photograph album depicting the training exercises of ski patrol members, and their social activities.
